Parties & Events

Regular parties & events suitable for all levels of dancers are held at The Lakeside in Frimley Green, Potters International Hotel in Aldershot, The Pavillion Ballroom in Bisley, and the Surrey Hills Hotel in Dorking.

Our previous guest teachers and performers have included Strictly Come Dancing professionals Vincent Simone & Flavia Cacace, World Salsa Champions, World Tango Champions, Stars of the West End, UK Salsa champions, and many of the country's top dancers, teachers and choreographers.

Remember to join our mailing list (on the left hand side of the page) to automatically receive details of forthcoming parties, including up-to-date information on guest teachers, cabaret performances and other special events.

Dancers from nearby towns in Surrey & Hampshire such as Guildford, Farnham, Alton, Winchester & Basingstoke regularly attend our events, as well as dancers from further afield - Reading, Southampton, Portsmouth etc. So do come along once and you may well be able to arrange a shared lift for subsequent events.

After our highly successful Sunday workshops last time around, join Renato & Gio again for a fun afternoon of workshops in Casino Salsa and Kizomba at the fantastic Surrey Hills Hotel, followed by an optional dinner in the Surrey Penang Restaurant attached to the hotel (serving delicious Malaysian/Singaporean cuisine!)

Schedule:

3.00pm - 4.30pm - CASINO SALSA - Open to beginners, improver and intermediate dancers. The original and most enduring of all salsa styles. With it's rhythmic Cuban movement and enchanting music.

4.30pm - 6.00pm - KIZOMBA - - For complete beginners, improvers and intermediate dancers. Sometimes referred to as 'the African Tango' this is a smooth, romantic partner dance with a sensuous rhythm, currently taking the UK by storm.

So whether you've not had the chance to dance these styles before or you simply want to improve your technique and repertoire of moves, come along and join us for what is sure to be a most enjoyable few hours.

We are very fortunate to have use of this wonderful facility in Dorking and hope that you can join us for a relaxed afternoon of workshops in good company.

PLEASE NOTE:
- All drinks during the afternoon are to be purchased from the bar
- We have been expressly asked to remind all dancers not to bring talcum powder to the venue, for use on the dance-floor. This is strictly prohibited. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Join us at the wonderful Surrey Hills Hotel, Dorking's favourite Salsa venue.

Following in our tradition of bringing you a little something extra, we are delighted to welcome guests Flavio de Brito and the Tanguera Dance Company, who will be giving us all an opportunity to learn some authentic Argentine Tango before giving us a passionate performance to remember.

Classes in Salsa for all levels followed by fun Tango class and party until 1am to the best latin tunes, we look forward to another great night in the Surrey Hills!
